Two years after arriving in the United States with a suitcase full of jersey dresses, Diane Von Furstenberg debuted the wrap dress, revolutionized women\u2019s fashion, became a fixture at Studio 54 and ultimately earned the moniker ‘fashion icon’ before marrying billionaire Barry Diller.<\/p>\n

Fittingly, some forty years later, \u00a0DVF 40: Journey of a Dress<\/i><\/b>, an exhibition celebrating the little wrap dress that started it all, arrived \u00a0in Los Angeles with much deserved fanfare. Staged\u00a0\u00a0at the Wilshire May Company building on Wilshire Boulevard adjacent to LACMA, the exhibit took guests on\u00a0\u00a0a stroll down memory lane with Von Furstenburg\u2019s creations as the road map.<\/p>\n
